NOW WE ARE COMING TO THE WORK OF THE SECOND VILLAGE - NEW DHANETI.

The following 2 posts are of custom-ordered, embroidered artwork done by the women artists in New Dhaneti Village (see the posts below these two), on special order for an artist in Austria. The Austrian had drawn the designs on the fabric, and the villager artists here in India did the embroidery as per the patterns drawn.
The cost for each piece was 21,000 Rs. / $463.
(above) This is another parcel that is being sent by the owner of my hotel to some American guests. It is going Airmail by Indian post / US Post to the USA. It will arrive in about one week. The cost is about 7000 Rs. / $154 for a 13-14 kg. box.
